Tim was my english literature professor back in 1995 when I attended Old Dominion University. That is when he and I first met and when I was introduced to his work. He was Virginia's Poet Laureate 2016-2018. Over the years we would see each other and I would suggest us doing a hit together. A couple of years ago Tim came out with `his latest book, Voodoo Libretto. My wife and I heard about it and attended the release party. It was there that I reconnected with Tim and we put together a gig in February of 2023. We received a lot of support and had a great gig. I had mentioned to Tim that I would love to do a recording while we were rehearsing for the February hit. That night seemed to solidify the plans of recording. This is that offering.
